Today, four more players got punished by Twitch for stream sniping. Tfue, Mendo, Nightblue3, and GrandPooBear get added to the list for breaching tournament rules.

Just a couple of days ago it became clear that Felix “xQc” Lengyel was stream sniping during a Twitch Rivals Fall Guys event. This left a lot of his fellow streamers and fans shocked.

As a result, Twitch issued a ban to the popular streamer, and we thought that page was closed. Little did we know that more offenders will be revealed in just a matter of days.

The latest batch of popular stream snipers adds Mendo, Nightblue3, and GrandPooBear. The three players were also part GlitchCon, the same event that resulted in the ban of xQc. According to Twitch, the trio violated the rules by stream sniping throughout the tournament.

Mendo, Nightblue3, and GrandPooBear get a 6-month ban from Twitch Rivals and will be forced to forfeit their prize winnings.

During the Twitch Rivals GlitchCon tournament, /xQcOW, /Nightblue3, / Mendo, / GrandPooBear, and /Tfue violated our Official Tournament Code of Conduct and Game Play Rules. Competitive integrity is important to use , and we expect all players to exhibit good sportsmanship and maintain respect for one another. Their actions will result in a disciplinary action from Twitch Rivals.

Tfue wasn’t directly stream sniping but was aware of the fact that his teammates were doing it. He failed to inform the admins and for that he’ll also forfeit prize winnings. On the plus side, Tfue doesn’t get a ban from Twitch Rivals or Twitch. The same can’t be said about everyone else mentioned as the three players above and xQc also received a temporary Twitch account suspension. It’s unclear whether that would be a day or a full week.

It’s also baffling why popular streamers with the status of Twitch partners would decide to stream snipe in an official event. What do you think about the whole situation? Share your opinion on our Facebook page!
