The man, who was wearing all black with a hood and covered his face, repeatedly reappeared near Jinny as she traveled, even hiding in a bush at one point. Due to the nature of her journey, Jinny's route between stops is easily trackable, making it possible for 'stream snipers' to meet her, which has happened on numerous occasions. This incident serves as a reminder of the potential danger content creators face while streaming, especially when broadcasting their location to a live audience.

On April 24, she set out to walk around 20 kilometers but was thrown off course when she noticed a stranger following her. The man was dressed in black, had a hood and was covering his face. Despite taking various stops, the man kept reappearing near Jinny as she traveled, even hiding in a bush at one point before continuing to follow her.
After approximately four hours, Jinny was forced to involve the police to deal with the stalker. When she spoke to the authorities, she simply asked them to tell the man to stop following her. The police asked the man to reveal his face, and after they detained him for some time, things seemed to calm down.
It's unknown if any further action was taken against him. Due to the nature of the Waddlethon, Jinny's route between stops is easy for viewers to track, which has led to several instances of 'stream snipers' meeting her before. However, following her for hours, hiding in bushes and keeping his face covered was extremely intimidating. Jinny expressed her anxiety, explaining that a covered face means the person might have bad intentions and get away with it.
She was relieved after the police detained the stalker to ensure her safety. Despite the risks, Jinny plans to continue her Waddlethon stream with the support of her viewers and Taiwanese authorities.
