If, by any chance, you wanted to pick one of these up, but didn't know which one — we tested the most popular ones and chose our personal favorites. Here you go.
Our personal favorites from best to "worst":
- JBL Charge 5 (Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Pink, Red, Squad, Turquoise)
- JBL Charge 3
- JBL Charge 4 (Sand, Pink, Yellow, Green, White, Turquoise, Blue, Red, Gray, Black)
- JBL Charge Essential
The JBL Charge 5 offers you the most bang for your buck, or should we say bass for your buck? It's surprising just how much power a speaker this small has. If you want to pick up a JBL Speaker, we'd definitely recommend this one.
While the JBL Charge 3 are also quite decent when it comes to bass and sound quality, they are only $10 cheaper than the JBL Charge 5, so why not just go for those.

Both, the JBL Charge 4 and the JBL Charge Essential didn't quite convince us quality-wise BUT you also have to consider their price. The JBL Charge Essential are the cheapest of the bunch, so check them out if you are strapped on cash.
