During the first lockdowns, viewers around the globe were battening down the hatches, ordering the last of the world's toilet paper supplies, and turning on their TVs. And Netflix was there for us, in fine form, keeping spirits raised throughout terrible times.

But what was the best thing they produced in those days? What show became the digital comfort blanket to us all? Tiger King. Yep, this glorious contribution to Netflix's library is set to return. So if you're not going to be too busy watching the next season of the Witcher, the new Matrix film, or the Home Alone reboot this winter, then keep reading.

Tiger King Season 2 Trailer

Let's cut to the chase, of course, the first thing you're going to want to see is what this new season promises.

Spoiler Alert: Do not watch this trailer if you haven't seen season 1 in its entirety. Seriously, this trailer immediately reveals the ending of season 1, or at least, the fate of the titular character.

God damn, that man is something else. As wild as it seems, Netflix is indeed going to be releasing the second season of Tiger King, despite the Tiger King himself being imprisoned on murder charges right now. The Tiger King had asked Donald Trump for a pardon before the end of his presidency, but this never came to fruition, so as we say, he's still behind bars.

It looks like season 2 will be a kind of "where are they now" season that goes back to all the people who got rich off the first season, except the Tiger King himself. It also looks like we're going to be reexamining the death of Carol Baskins' first husband.

When Is Tiger King Season 2 Released?

Tiger King season 2 will be released globally on November 17, and like the first season, it will be dumped as a single box-set rather than being released weekly. If you want to see more from this madman then be sure not to miss it, and if you haven't seen season 1, we highly recommend it.
