DIRT 5 is undoubtedly one of the most fun racing games of the year and cuts a fine figure, especially in the next-gen version on PS5 and Xbox Series X. If you have already purchased the game, you can look forward to numerous improvements with the new Patch 2.00.
If you are a racing fan and don't have DIRT 5 at home yet, you should definitely change that.
DIRT 5 finally with steering wheel support
The list of improvements with patch 2.00 is long. For example, DIRT 5 finally supports steering wheels from the most well-known manufacturers with the latest update.
Here is an overview of some of the most important changes:
- Graphics and performance improvements in the next-gen version.
- Performance improvements on PS4 and Xbox One in "Prioritize image quality" mode
- Issues with flickering lights during night races have been fixed
- Crashes at the beginning of career mode have been fixed
- Online lobbies with friends have been expanded to eight players
- Graphics and sound in split-screen multiplayer improved

Free (S)no(w) Limits Pack for DIRT 5 Goes Live
Christmas is also being celebrated in DIRT 5, albeit a bit muddier than you're used to. For this, the developers are giving you the free (S)no(w) Limits pack, which brings with it some new content.
In addition to new, festive objects for the Playgrounds mode, there is a brand-new sprint race on the ice on Roosevelt Island and some new customization options for your own player profile. Festive paint jobs for the Ford Mustang GT4 and Porsche Cayenne Transsyberia are also on top. If that's not more than enough reasons to take the arcade racer for a spin or two, we don't know what is.
