ESL have lifted the curtain from Pro League Season 11 by announcing the full 24-team list for the revamped format of the competition.

What we’ve all been waiting for: the official ESL Pro League Season 11 team sheet

After months of speculation and guessing games, we can finally know for sure which teams were invited and chose to accept a place in the reformed ESL Pro League. Season 11 is to contain half the number of teams compared to its predecessors and with FLASHPOINT threatening to take away some of the top teams for their own league, it was curious to see what ESL would eventually end up with.

As it happens, ESL Pro League Season 11 will be just fine. Pretty much every big team around has committed to the long-standing league, ditching the opportunity to jump ship and join FLASHPOINT.

Without further delay, here are the 24 participants in ESL Pro League Season 11:

  • Astralis
  • mousesports
  • Team Liquid
  • Evil Geniuses
  • Team Vitality
  • Natus Vincere
  • Fnatic
  • G2
  • FaZe Clan
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • ENCE Esports
  • 100 Thieves
  • OG
  • Complexity Gaming
  • Heroic
  • North
  • Renegades
  • Virtus.pro
  • Tyloo
  • FURIA
  • INTZ
  • GODSENT
  • Sharks
  • forZe

The team sheet consists of the 13 organizations to have signed the Louvre agreement, the Season 10 finalists (with the exception of Cloud9 and Made in Brazil who will be playing in FLASHPOINT), the winners of MDL Season 32 and the top four ranked teams on the ESL rankings that don’t fit any of the above requirements.

When and how will ESL Pro League Season 11 happen

Season 11 will cover a full four weeks from March 16 to April 12. Group play, which will be in a Bo3 round-robin format, will consume the majority of that time – from the opening day until April 4. The winners of the four groups will duke it out in a couple of Play-In matches to determine who goes straight to the semifinals and who will start their playoff campaign from the quarterfinals.

Teams placed second and third will also advance from the groups. These eight teams will mark the start of the playoffs on April 5. The conclusion of the second playoff round on April 7 is the final day of in-studio play, with the quarterfinals, semifinals, and grand final set to be played in an arena environment on April 10, 11 and 12, respectively.

The arena location is yet unknown. What is known, however, is the prize pool, which stands at a thumping $750,000. What does the location matter with numbers like these, right?
