Riot Games have announced the line-up for a throwback LCS showmatch between the two NA League of Legends powerhouses - Cloud9 and TSM.

The LCS fans of the first hour can look forward to a comeback of their former heroes. The LCS teams TSM and C9 will compete in a show match, one day before the LCS match of the current teams. Fans of the former "Team Curse" can also look forward to one of their favorites in the TSM squad.

The Teams

For the show match, the organization Cloud9 has gathered the original LCS squad of the 2013 team. That means we will see Sneaky, Meteos, Hai Du Lam, Daerek "LemonNation" Hart, and An "Balls" Van Le play on C9 side. In 2013, this surprise team has dominated the summer season 25-3.

TSM also has all but one player from the 2013 squad on their team. Confirmed are the former LCS professionals: Marcus "Dyrus" Hill, Brian "TheOddOne" Wyllie, Jason "WildTurtle" Tran, and Alex "Xpecial" Chu. TSM CEO Andy "Reginald" Dinh will not be joining the team, but TSM will get a prominent replacement from former Team Curse. Spectator favorite Voyboy will support TSM in the show match.

To celebrate TSM and Cloud9's meeting in the LCS summer split on July 11 , Riot announced on 6 July that there will be a classic show match between two of NA LCS's most successful organizations. Cloud9 and TSM are two of the best teams in the current LCS, with C9 leading the league 8-0. TSM currently shares second place with Team Liquid with a score of 6:2.

The showmatch starts on July 10 at 07:00 PM (July 11 at 02:00 AM CET), while the match between the current teams of the organizations will start on July 11 at about 03:00 PM (July 11 at 10:00 PM CET).
