Hype! Hype! The MTG hype train has no breaks! When the recently announced Amonkhet and Hour of Devastation remastered sets for MTGA was announced, it was great news - Pioneer and Historic get some love, and we’ll be going back to Magic Egypt to revisit some cool cards like Glorybringer. What was somewhat surprising though, was the revelation that the sets will have their own mini-preview season. Wait, we’ve already seen the cards, what’s there to preview?

It will be a rather short, three-day period this time, and only a few select outlets will get the previous - so don’t expect your usual PleasantKenobi or Tolarian Community College videos this time around. Besides, why are we getting a preview season for a set that we’ve already played to death (pun intended!) years ago? Well, clearly Wizards have something up their sleeve.

Could it be flashy, animated Invocations? Could it be Invocations with a card design that isn’t disgusting? We’ll find out in less than a week’s time.
