CL Showdown: Forsberg Against Bernat
The Champions League Showdowns are part of the FIFA 21 Pre-Season in FUT 20. Like the Summer Heat Promo, two players compete against each other in a time-limited Squad Building Challenge. The winner of the semi-final, which takes place on Tuesday at 21:00 in Lisbon, can look forward to a rating boost of +3 points.
The challenge will cost around 110,000 coins for the Spanish outfield defender Juan Bernat of Paris St. Germain, who has a rating of 92. For this, you must hand in a team with a rating of 84 and at least 70 chemistry.
Emil Forsberg of RB Leipzig (93 OVR) costs almost 130,000 coins and needs two teams in exchange:
- Team from the Bundesliga (82 OVR, at least 80 chemistry)
- Team with an OVR of 83 (at least 70 chemistry)
Are the FIFA 20 Champions League Showdown Tickets Worth it?
Juan Bernat's new card is already a full five points above France's best left-back in Ligue 1, and the prospect of a 95 rating when PSG reach the final of the Champions League makes the special card even more attractive. This would make the Spaniard the best LV player in FUT 20.
Emil Forsberg is also definitely worth his money and is already third in the Bundesliga in the ZOM position. With a victory of RB Leipzig, the Swede would pass the TOTS card of Marco Reus and would be on the same level as the Icon Moments card of Zinedine Zidane.
Both tickets are worth it because nobody knows if RB Leipzig will be able to create the next sensation after their surprise win against Atletico Madrid in the semi-final. Whoever has enough coins left will pass both SBCs, but there is nothing wrong with either player. You still have until tomorrow night to complete the first Champions League Showdown SBC.
