The Belgian's gold card could not really convince in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. There are simply too many better options in the Bundesliga itself. The Axel Witsel Flashback SBC card is completely different.
His speed score increases by a whopping 19 points, his shooting is up by 10 points, all the while his defensive stats go a bit down. The flashback variant is therefore no longer a slow defensive midfielder, but an agile, attack-minded central midfielder.

Comparisons to some of the best attacking midfielders in the game are favorable to the Belgian when you factor in price. This early in the game, the Axel Witsel Flashback SBC is the equivalent of a theft.
Cheapest Solution
A total of three teams are needed for the Axel Witsel Flashback SBC:
- Borussia Dortmund team (min. 1 Borussia Dortmund player, min. 84 OVR, min. 70 chemistry)
- Bundesliga team (min. 1 Bundesliga player, min. 84 OVR, min. 65 chemistry)
- TOTW team (min. 1 TOTW player, min. 85 OVR, min. 60 chemistry)
Borussia Dortmund Team
Nearly 40,000 coins are due for this challenge. Witsel is accompanied by teammate Raphaël Guerreiro. The rest of the team comes from the Italian Serie A so that we match the OVR rating needed at a minimal cost.
Bundesliga Team
The second squad is also worth almost 40,000 coins and is similar to the first team in many positions. Another way to keep prices down is to insert as many goalkeepers as possible. That's why we took out Witsel and Guerreiro and added their own mate Roman Bürki and Torino's Salvatore Sirigu. Requirements met.
TOTW Team
The most expensive of the three teams clocks in at around 70,000 coins. We keep it within the Bundesliga for the special requirement through RB Leipzig's Marcel Halstenberg. Once again, there are five goalkeepers on the squad.
