Now that the fuzz over the 2019 FIFA Team of the Year is beginning to die down, it’s time to get back to weekly business. EA Sports released Team of the Week No. 18 and we’re here to show you who made the cut this time around.
The starting eleven for Team of the Week 18 features five players from the English Premier League and four from the Italian Serie A. For additional amusement the two players to complete the first eleven are Italian midfielder Sebastian Giovinco who plays for Al-Hilal and Sporting CP’s Bruno Fernandes who is heavily linked with a move to English giants Manchester United. Sergio Agüero is the jewel in this week’s team, boasting the highest overall of 91 after bagging a hat-trick in Man City’s last game.
By contrast, there are no Serie Aplayers outside the starters, although we can find a couple more Premier League representatives on the bench. You can check out the entirety of TOTW 18 below.
