Our goal is to build an elite squad of top players, dominate domestic leagues, and consistently win the Champions League.

To do this, it's important to scout for young, talented players who have the potential to improve their ratings significantly. Securing these promising talents early on can be a strategic move, as it allows you to tailor their training, improve their key attributes, and develop them into the best players in their positions. By carefully managing their growth, your players may even exceed their expected potential and eventually win the Ballon D'Or.

Best Talents For Career Mode In EA FC 24: Highest Ratings & Potentials

You might know the procedure from our best talents in FIFA 23. We have set criteria for EA FC 24 talents to meet in order to make the list:

• Players cannot be older than 22 when starting a new career.
• Players must have a potential of 85 or higher
• The Overall Rating (OVR) must increase by at least five points (unless it increases above 86)

We've sorted these talents by their primary position, starting with goalkeepers and moving through all positions to forwards. You can also find the current market value of these players, so you can get an idea of the budget required to sign them. Just scroll to the right in our lists if you can't see the leagues or values (especially if you're on your phone).

If a player's club is followed by (L.) or (N.), it means that the player is either on loan or a new signing. As such, they cannot be added to your club in the first year, but you may want to check on them again in the winter or at the beginning of the second season.

EA FC 24 GK Talents: Best Goalkeepers For Career Mode

Elia Caprile has replaced Maarten Vandevoordt on the list after Vandevoordt was downgraded to 84 potential. However, we still recommend him as the top choice for your number 1 goalkeeper (21 years old, 75 OVR, with a market value of 11 million) due to his height of 6'4".

Dennis Seimen also only has a potential of 84, but due to the low price we still recommend him.

Best Defender Talents: Full Backs And Wing Backs (RB, RWB, LB, LWB) In EA FC 24

Leverkusen's great performances have led to Jeremie Frimpong getting a higher OVR rating, which actually booted him out of this list. Bayern's new RB Sacha Boey is new to the list. Turning to Spain and La Liga's surprise team of the moment, FC Girona, we find more additions. Miguel Gutiérrez and Yan Couto are both new additions to the top talents. Spaniard Alex Jimenez (on loan from Real to Milan) is an affordable addition. He can be found at the bottom of the list.

EA FC 24: Best CB Talents

Another new addition for Leverkusen: Odilon Kossounou joins the top talents. Also new are Leny Yoro (OSC Lille), Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton) and Lucas Beraldo (PSG). You can find them at the end of the list.

Best Midfield Talents In EA FC 24: CDM, CM & CAM

Real Madrid's wonder signing Jude Bellingham has been upgraded and now starts with 88 (formerly 87). Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig) now starts at 82 instead of 80.

Check out the bottom of the list for newly added talents that should be able to be signed with almost any budget.

Best Winger Talents: LW, LM, RW & RM

Nico Williams (Athletic Club) has been upgraded as his potential has been increased from 86 to 88. Alejandro Garnacho (Man United) now starts with 75 OVR instead of 74, but keeps his 87 potential. Cole Palmer (Chelsea) got a huge upgrade since the start of the game, with now 79 OVR and 87 potential.

Samuel Iling-Junior (Juve) has also been bumped up to 87 (formerly 85 potential). 17-year-old Assane Diao (Real Betis) could be your man if your budget is limited. He starts at 70 OVR, has 86 potential and is worth 4 million. Girona's Savio and Crystal Palace's Michael Olise got a boost as well.

Gio Reyna (Dortmund), Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke (both Chelsea) are out as their potential drops to 84.

Best Striker Talents: ST & CF

Barca's new gem Vitor Roque is in EA FC 24, and he is right up there with the top talents. George Ilenikhena (Royal Antwerp)´and Paris Brunner (Borussia Dortmund)are newcomers that are worth signing early – both are under 18 but have a potential of 87.

Joshua Zirkzee is another rising star you should keep an eye on. After an amazing season with FC Bologna, potentially leading them to Champions League qualification for the first time ever, he got a massive stats boost.
