The FIFA 21 Headliners event almost went to the background as the voting for the Team of the Year began yesterday. EA Sports reminded us just how good the current FUT promo is by releasing Headliners Team 2, including some spicy names in attack.
The Headliners FUT event has covered the entire post-holiday portion of the season to this point and will continue to do so for at least a couple more weeks. The voting for Team of the Year (TOTY) might have started yesterday, but the cards themselves won't be introduced to FIFA 21 until at least January 22. Don't worry, there's enough quality among the Headliners.

FIFA 21 Headliners Team 2
This second squad is one for the attacking mind. The two best cards of the bunch are strikers and both had a 2020 to remember. Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema is rated 92 on his Headliners card - the only player on Team 2 in the 90s.
His closest trailer is another goal machine - Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland. The Norwegian is arguably the better FIFA 21 player despite his stats suggesting otherwise. Much superior pace and strength and better shooting are enough to challenge Benzema's place at the Headliners Team 2 throne.
Speaking of pace, Hirving Lozano maxes the stat out. Being a wing player, that immediately makes him FIFA 21 viable. Same can be said for Milan's Theo Hernández. Pace of 98 doesn't hurt his stock and neither does the fact his Milan are atop the Serie A. Playing on a good team actually matters with the dynamic Headliners cards. You can read precisely how they work in our summarizing article.
