Prepare yourselves: a new wave of FIFA 21 Icon SBCs is coming! This time around, you can get the Prime Icon Moments cards of Kenny Dalglish, Alessandro Del Piero and Michaël Essien. Are any of them worth the trouble? If so, which one to pick?
The previous trio of Icon SBCs was released not long ago, yet EA Sports are pumping out three new ones right before Team of the Season. Who to get: Kenny Dalglish, Alessandro Del Piero or Michaël Essien?
How Much Do the New Icon SBCs in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Cost?
As is the case with every FUT Icon - quite a lot. They aren't the most expensive ones out there though:
- ST: Kenny Dalglish (93 OVR) - 1.45 million coins
- CF: Alessandro Del Piero (93 OVR) - 755,000 coins
- CDM: Michaël Essien (91 OVR) - 1.14 million coins
Are Any of the New Icon SBCs Good?
In terms of values, all three new Icon SBCs are of course extremely strong. However, if you take the price into account, the picture looks a bit different.

The cheapest SBC, that of Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero, is not worth it at all. The Italian is currently being traded on the PlayStation transfer market for around 710,000 coins, which is actually less than this SBC costs.
Michaël Essien's SBC would be a bit more exciting if not for FUT Birthday Arturo Vidal, who costs less than half the price.
That leaves us with Kenny Dalglish, who has truly outstanding stats and a 5-star weak foot. But we again come across the fact that there are better cards for less than the cost of the SBC, like the brand new EoaE Sergio Agüero or TOTY Robert Lewandowski.
In conclusion, none of the three new Icon SBCs are really worth it. Especially with Team of the Season expected to launch on April 23. Better save your players and coins for the big fish.
