Saturday went by without any new FIFA 21 content, but on Sunday EA Sports delivered an exciting Squad Building Challenge as part of the Halloween Rulebreakers event. We provide you with the cheapest FIFA 21 Jason Denayer Rulebreakers SBC solution.
FIFA 21's special Halloween event - Rulebreakers, entered its second week with the release of Rulebreakers Team 2 on Friday. The regular team gave us some excellent cards to work with but even more is on the way with the Jason Denayer SBC.

Let's make it short: Yes, it is worth it! The Belgian's gold card already plays like a cheap version of Virgil van Dijk - one of the best central defenders in FIFA 21. Since the French Ligue 1 lacks strong defenders anyway, Denayer is an excellent option.
81 pace - top. 84 defense - very good. 88 physicality - outstanding. This card's stats rise to 91 defense and 94 physicality with the Anchor Chemistry style, which turns Denayer into a defensive behemoth.
The links are also there as Belgium is enjoying its golden generation currently, and their players leave marks in every big league. Jason Denayer is currently one of the best non-Icon center backs in FIFA 21.
The Cheapest Solution
At just about 56,000 coins, the card is also an incredible bargain. Similarly, strong central defenders cost three or four times as much. All you're gonna need are two cheap teams:
- Ligue 1 team (min. one Ligue 1 player, min. 84 OVR, min. 75 chemistry)
- Belgium team (min. one Belgian player, min. 84 OVR, min. 70 chemistry)
Team 1: Ligue 1
For just under 30,000 coins, we are building a hybrid team from the Serie A and Spanish La Liga. Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Bürki is slotted on the right-hand side of the defense. Midfielder Idrissa Gueye meets the league requirement. There are plenty other players that could be used instead of Bürki and Gueye as long as they're both at least 84 OVR.
Team 2: Belgium
The second SBC team is even cheaper. Goalkeeper Koen Casteels from Wolfsburg fulfils the nationality requirement. The rest of the team takes us back to Italy. We have another goalkeeper at right back but once again anyone with an 85 OVR can do what Kasper Schmeichel does for us.
Once you've given up both teams, you'll have a literal brick wall in the heart of your defense that can link to many great FIFA 21 cards, such as Axel Witsel's own special Flashback SBC card.
