Another day of the FIFA 21 Freeze FUT event, another SBC. Sevilla legend Jesús Navas is chosen as today's shapeshifter, making a surprising move to the center of defense. Here's the cheapest solution!

Freeze already supplied La Liga with a great CB in the form of Casemiro but the Christmas event keeps trying in that regard. Is Navas really viable at CB though?

The FIFA 21 Jesús Navas Freeze SBC Card

  • Position: CB
  • Nation: Spain
  • League: La Liga
  • Team: Sevilla
  • OVR: 86
  • Weak Foot: 2 stars
  • Skill Moves: 4 stars
  • Prize: approx. 140,000 coins
  • Expiry: December 24

Freeze Jesús Navas is theoretically great. The huge physical and defensive boosts he receives would usually be enough for the winger to fit at CB, yet he doesn't. That's simply due to the little Spaniard's stature. At 1.70 m he is simply too short and will undoubtedly be abused with crosses.

He fits effortlessly at CDM though, so if you have a player to swap him with, Navas could still do your FUT squad some good. At 140,000 coins a player unusable at his position still feels like a questionable pickup.

The Cheapest Solution

Jesús Navas is the second Freeze SBC in a row to require two teams be handed in:

  • Min. one La Liga player, min. one TOTW player, min. 83 OVR, min. 80 chemistry
  • Min. one Spanish player, min. 85 OVR, min. 75 chemistry

Team 1

As usual with low OVR teams, we turn to Benfica to boost our chemistry. The latter is also helped by the heap of Brazilians, including TOTW Paqueta.

Team 2

The second team requires a lot more investment, but we manage all the requirements with a few strong links between La Liga, Serie A and Primeira Liga players.
