The fourth day of the FUT Freeze event brought us a striker from the Spanish La Liga. We have the cheapest FIFA 21 José Gayá Freeze SBC solution for you and tell you whether the deal is worth it.

Cristian Ansaldi at right back, Marquinhos in midfield. The FIFA 21 FUT Christmas event is delivering some very interesting SBCs so far. Today we have one of the more outrageous Freeze cards to look at: the 86 OVR ST card of Valencia's 83 OVR...left back José Gayá.

The FIFA 21 José Gayá Freeze SBC Card

  • Position: ST
  • Nation: Spain
  • League: La Liga
  • Team: Valencia
  • OVR: 86
  • Weak Foot: 3 stars
  • Skill Moves: 4 stars
  • Price: approx. 65,000 coins
  • Expiry: December 17

An overall score of 86, 84 shooting and 85 dribbling make José Gayá look quite appealing. That's until you look at the price of his Freeze SBC. Then you'd realize it's not simpky appealing, this is an exceptional card!

Thanks to his high stamina, Gaya can be equally effective if played on the wing or at CAM. This would work particularly well within systems such as 4-2-2-2 and 4-2-3-1. Based on versatility alone, Gayá is worth the investment.

The Cheapest Solution

As is the case with every Freeze SBC thus far, you need to hand in one team to get José Gayá:

  • Min. one La Liga player, min. one TOTW player, min. 84 OVR, min. 80 chemistry

Team 1

An 84 OVR is rather low for a high-value SBC but the high chemistry demands balance it all out and we do need to be specific with our squad-building. We go for a bunch of high-chem connections from La Liga, Primeira Liga and Serie A with the sole outlier being Mainz 05 striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, who acts as our TOTW player.
