French striker Karim Benzema was selected as Player of the Month in the Spanish La Liga for March 2021 and thus receives a POTM card in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. Unfortunately, our SBC solution says the card is not worth it.
Karim Benzema is the March 2021 La Liga POTM and succeeds Lionel Messi. The Frenchman's SBC costs around 1.5 million coins less than the Argentine superstar's, but despite the bargain price, the card is not worth it in the slightest.
La Liga POTM Karim Benzema
- Position: ST
- Nation: France
- League: La Liga
- Team: Real Madrid
- OVR: 94
- Weak Foot: 4 stars
- Skilll Moves: 4 stars
- Price: approx. 184,000 coins
- Expiry: May 2
Is POTM Benzema worth it? The answer is clear: no. There are many reasons for this.
First: La Liga POTM Karim Benzema is not a meta striker and despite his outstanding shooting stats in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, he is not necessarily the best option at his position within Spain's first division.

Second: There are other Benzema options on the market. You can get the better Headliners card, which costs around 330,000 coins, or his In-Form that comes in at 160,000 coins and is barely worse than POTM Benzema.
La Liga POTM Karim Benzema is a really strong striker if you don't necessarily go for pace and also fits well at CAM thanks to good passing, dribbling and physicality.
On the other hand, it's not worth completing the SBC for an untradeable special card of a non-meta player, hence why we would skip this SBC altogether.
