Central defender Laurent Koscielny was part of the final Arséne Wenger years and the initial Wenger-less years at Arsenal. Now he is back in his homeland with Bordeaux, but that's none of our concerw with this SBC, because it's a Flashback SBC.
Laurent Koscielny has never been listed among the elite center backs in the world, but he had his run with Arsenal and was a part of a very strong France squad with only an injury depriving him of a World Cup medal. That's enough for EA Sports to give the man a Flashback SBC and we are of course here to solve it in the cheapest possible way.

After Flashback Axel Witsel, Laurent Koscielny is the second retrospective SBC that looks back on the heyday of a football player in FIFA 21. Unlike Witsel, Koscielny is hardly worth it.
The values look good: 77 speed, 86 defense, 81 physical. With these values, Flashback Laurant Koscielny is the best CB in the French Ligue 1. Compatriot Clément Lenglet from Barcelona has almost the same values and costs 30,000 coins less. The Laurent Koscielny Flashback SBC is worthwhile if you play a Ligue 1 team. Few people do that, especially in defense. Otherwise, you can skip this one.
Cheapest Solution
Two teams must be handed in for the Laurent Koscielny Flashback SBC, both rather expensive.
- Premier League & Ligue 1 team (min. 1 Premier League player, min. 1 Ligue 1 player, min. 84 OVR, min. 65 chemistry)
- France team (min. 1 French player, min. 85 OVR, min. 60 chemistry)
Premier League & Ligue 1 Team
Here we choose a hybrid team from the Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A. Goalkeeper Kepa from Chelsea, as a Spaniard, provides the necessary compounds to provide chemistry. We also use goalkeeper Steve Mandanda from Olympique Marseille although any other Ligue 1 player with an 83 OVR or more does it here as well.
France Team
The second team is considerably more expensive. Here we again use some players from the first team and again stack the deck with goalkeepers. Our favorite Andre Onana from Ajax makes a glorious return.
