The FIFA 21 Christmas promo event Freeze has started. The cards are not just strong, but rather curious too. Paris Saint-Germain's Marquinhos is part of the promo and is a perfect example of how it all works. Here's our cheap solution to the FIFA 21 Marquinhos Freeze SBC!
When the FIFA 21 Freeze FUT event leaked, a lot of people were questioning whether or not it would be any good. It is! It's arguably better than FUTmas actually, or at the very least - more interesting.

Marquinhos is of course a natural at center back and that's where his regular FUT cards are located too. Freeze, however, creates alternative positional cards for players. In the Brazilian's case, he is taken a bit further up the field - at CDM.

Offensive stats - shooting, passing and dribbling, all go up to accommodate Marquinhos' new position. As an Anchor, he goes up to a 92 OVR at CDM and 93 at CB. I mean yeah, he's still great at his own position.
Being both a Brazilian and a PSG player, Marquinhos also provides some great links. The only downside is his stamina. 82 is not great in central midfield and you might have to swap with someone, if possible.
The Cheapest Solution
As with all FUT Freeze SBCs released so far, Marquinhos only requires a single team to be handed in. However, this one has rather high requirements:
- Min. one Paris Saint-Germain player, min. 86 OVR, min. 75 chemistry
Team 1
Here we go the route of a hybrid team from the Spanish La Liga and English Premier League. Goalkeeper Keylor Navas fulfills the team requirement and Portuguese Pizzi on the right wing provides the needed chemistry to João Moutinho in midfield.
