Ninjas in Pyjamas and Leeds United
The list of triumphs of Ninjas in Pyjamas is long. In the 20-year history of the esports organization, NiP has won several titles in Counter-Strike, Warcraft 3, League of Legends , and Dota 2.
From now on, the Ninjas will also be competing in FIFA 21 and have secured a strong partner in the English club Leeds United. CEO of Ninjas in Pyjamas, Hicham Chahine commented:
This partnership with Leeds is an exciting milestone for Ninjas in Pyjamas. Our iconic clubs share similar histories of transformation and core values when fighting our way back to the top of our sports. We looked for a premier club with an ownership that was ready to go deep into esports - with the ambition of making an impact, integrating efforts on sports performance, fan activation and commercialization. We are very thrilled about this FIFA journey together, and keep your eyes open for more exciting announcements in the upcoming weeks.
Together with its new partner, NiP intends to join the battle for the championship title in the third season of the ePremier League. Therefore the Ninjas fall back on a well-known name in the FIFA-Esports scene.
The 19-year-old Swede Olle "Ollelito" Arbin was one of the shooting stars of the FIFA 20 season and won the FIFA 20 Summer Series Europe, among others. In the new ePremier League season, Ollelito, wearing the jersey of NiP and Leeds United, wants to show what he is made of.
On Twitter, the FIFA professional is enthusiastic about the new cooperation.
This is freaking CRAZY. https://t.co/B9D396mMdu
