The Black Friday weekend also left its mark on FIFA 21. Numerous Flash SBCs, Player Moments and ten strong Record Breaker cards awaited you in FUT over the weekend. Here's an overview of the new players.
EA Sports gave FUT fans numerous new special cards, squad building challenges and tasks during the bargain event of the year, including the FIFA 21 Record Breakers. Let's see who and what exactly these Record Breakers are.
FIFA 21 Record Breakers
A total of ten Record Breakers cards (not to be confused with the Rulebreakers) found their way into FIFA 21 Ultimate Team this weekend. Record Breakers are special versions of some popular players based on special achievements from their careers. What sort of achievements? It doesn't really matter. All that matters are the cards.
Some are really strong but beware! Others are valuable at first glance only.

Are FIFA 21 Record Breakers Worth It?
That depends on the situation. Some cards are really good, but others are only strong on paper – Mbappé and van Dijk are barely better than their gold cards and cost three times as much. There are good deals here as well though: David Silva is perhaps the best deal you can get: For 130,000 coins, you get a much improved version of the playmaker with +18 pace, +11 physical and +9 shooting on his gold stats. Jadon Sancho and Jamie Vardy are more cards worth your attention.
Finally, there's Real Madrid's Rodrygo. His card is the second weakest on the Record Breakers team, but him being an Objectives player makes it one of the better bargains on here. What is not obvious at first glance is the +1 on his Weak Foot, which makes more of a difference than it seems.
If you've decided to give any of the Rule Breakers a chance, you must strike fast. All of them expire tomorrow, December 1, with the conclusion of the Black Friday event.
Road to the Final Updates and FUTmas
The next FIFA 21 FUT event is already in the works. Road to the Final cards will be upgraded on December 9 after all Champions League and Europa League knockout stage teams have been confirmed. Bayern München's Alphonso Davies and Barcelona's Antoine Griezmann already got theirs thanks to their teams' early advance into the next stage.
Once that is done, it will be FUTmas time! Last year the FIFA Christmas event started two weeks before the holiday, so it should align perfectly with the conclusion of RTTF card upgrades for 2020.
