When Team of the Year (TOTY) is fresh, you better release quality SBCs next to it. EA Sports have done that by turning back the clock with a Franck Ribéry Flashback card that will slide right into your FIFA 21 FUT squad.

The FIFA 21 TOTY is live. That means that sub-90 OVR cards are no longer the cream of the crop. EA Sports have recognized that and thus, the Franck Ribéry Flashback SBC meets the bare minimum requirement. Of course, that comes at a cost.

Franck Ribéry's Flashback card is quite simply too expensive. The card itself is amazing - great stats all around. Including some side bonuses like five stars in weak foot and skill moves. When you can get a Neymar or a RTTF Eden Hazard for way less coins, however, only nostalgia or the desire to play with different players than all the other players, can make you complete this SBC.

Ribéry Flashback SBC: The Cheapest Solution

The 850,000+ coins are divided into five teams:

  • Min. one Bundesliga player, min. one Serie A, min. 84 OVR, min. 75 chemistry
  • Min. one TOTW player, min. 84 OVR, min. 70 chemistry
  • Min. one Bayern München player, min. 86 OVR, min. 65 chemistry
  • Min. one French player, min. 87 OVR, min. 55 chemistry
  • Min. 88 OVR, min. 50 chemistry

Ribéry Flashback SBC Solution: Team 1

For 70,000 coins we go around La Liga and the Bundesliga to gather most of the team. There's one player apiece from the Premier League and of course the Serie A.

Ribéry Flashback SBC Solution: Team 2

It's a goalkeeper-driven squad this one. TOTW 17's Teun Koopmeiners joins the fray to fulfil the squad demands.

Ribéry Flashback SBC Solution: Team 3

We move on to expensive territory with Team 3. Serge Gnabry is representing Ribéry's former team Bayern. The rest of this 175,000-coin squad comes from Serie A and La Liga.

Ribéry Flashback SBC Solution: Team 4

With next to no chemistry requirements, we have to keep the OVR up by any means necessary. That means we pick up all the best goalkeepers and plug in some cheaper outfielders, mainly our Benfica trio on the left.

Ribéry Flashback SBC Solution: Team 5

Higher OVR and lower chemistry can only mean one thing - more GKs. All the best players on here are playing between the sticks, the notable exceptions being Sergio Agüero and Toni Kroos. This team still costs 300,000 coins on its own.
