FIFA 22 will launch on October 1st, 2021 and will once again feature different game modes. We'll show you an overview of every mode you can find in FIFA 22.
From kick-off, to career, to FUT. FIFA 22 comes with the standard reporting of game modes. Which mode you prefer to play is entirely up to you. Here we give you an overview of the different ways you can play FIFA.
FIFA Ultimate Team
Probably the heart of FIFA and has been for a number of years. The majority of the player base loves to grind in FUT and to collect the best players. FUT is about making your own wishes of a perfect team come true and putting together your dream squad.
You'll get the players through cards, or you have to earn them or buy them with real money. That's why EA is always criticized. For FUT 22, the biggest change is that the Weekend League will no longer exist. It's now called FUT Champions Finals. There are also heroes and the stadium can be customized in more detail. If you don't yet know how to take your FIFA Points from 21 to 22 with you, just have a look here.

Career Mode
Career Mode has long been the linchpin for many FIFA players. At least before FUT came around. It is still very popular, because here you lead your club to fame and glory, save it from oblivion and bring it back up. Or you change a lame team to become all-time Champions League winners. There was once again a lot of speculation about an Online Mode, but that's probably something for FIFA 23. What's coming back is the option to create your own club. We are very happy about that, you can start as the established top club or the aspiring mini club.
VOLTA Football
For years, we've actually just wanted a FIFA Street like the ones between 2005 and 2012, but EA prefers to give us the VOLTA Mode. Unfortunately, the small field game does not offer the many different dribbling and trick possibilities that the street parts could, but the mode is fun every now and then. Some changes are expected for FIFA 22, but EA doesn't reveal too much here. We'll keep you up to date.
Kick-off and Online Modes
The other modes offer you the familiar environment. The kick-off mode is perfect if you want to spend the relaxed evening with your buddies on the couch. Everyone chooses a team, regardless of whether it is a club, national- or women's team, and off we go.Of course, you can also enjoy online modes without Ultimate grind. Here, you can compete with standard teams of your choice against other players in online seasons and fight your way into the first division.
Pro Clubs is the silent supreme discipline in FIFA. Create your own Player, choose your position and compete with up to ten other buddies online.
