The Base or Mid Icon Upgrade SBC is back in FIFA 22. After you could already get hold of the base versions of the icons a few weeks ago, now the stronger cards are also up for grabs. What is the cheapest way to complete the SBC and is it worth it at all?
Icons are amongst the most popular cards in FIFA. Whether it's R9, Ronaldinho, Henry or Vieira: many of the legends have really cool cards that usually also fit pretty well into the meta. Of course, there are also a few stinkers that you don't like to see in your pack.

First of all: The new Icon SBC will be available for another six days, until December 19th. Furthermore, it is unfortunately non-repeatable if you wanted to exchange quite a lot of players in your club. As you will see in the following overview, not as much is required as you might think. As you can see, the SBC is not that complex, especially by EA standards. 3 challenges and for each one there are even decent packs on top. Besides, the Prime Icons will probably be released soon, so why not just wait and see?
Is the Base or Mid Icon SBC in FIFA 22 Worth It?
To be honest, we are a bit torn. Let's put it this way: If you currently have a lot of players lying around in your club anyway, you can complete the SBC pretty safely. But if you only have 400K coins and have to buy everything, you'd better keep your hands off the SBC.
