Julian Nagelsmann is the replacement for Hansi Flick as head coach of FC Bayern Munich. But what does that mean for FIFA? Do players get new positions? Bayern could not only become a real force in Ultimate Team.

Bayern Munich in FIFA 22: What It Could Look Like

After Nagelsmann's signature, many Bundesliga fans congratulated FC Bayern on further championships. We're also taking a look at a possible line-up for FC Bayern Munich in the future.

Nagelsmann is one of the most modern coaches in soccer. He often uses hybrid formations. It depends on whether the team is attacking or defending. So the formation is changed depending on the situation. In the attack, there is a 3-5-2 or 3-6-1 system, which then becomes a 4-4-2 or 5-3-2 in defense. In FIFA 21, the five players at the back were already quite popular and with who else Bayern has to offer, it could be popular in FIFA 22 as well.

It is quite possible that Nagelsmann would like to make another transfer for the right wing. Should Leroy Sané not work on his defensive skills, he could face competition on his position. Benjamin Pavard should rather be played as a right CB, since he is simply too slow as a wing-back.

As strong as Davies is now, he has to at least get an 83. He's one of the best left-backs in the world, which is why we think an 81 rating is simply too low. Even if last season wasn't the best, we say: Give him an upgrade, EA!

His last season in Leipzig was very convincing. The Austrian was a leader and showed his qualities in front and in the defense. He could be found practically anywhere. That's why we believe that a strong 83 is now followed by an 84 in FIFA 22.

The pressure on the winger increases. He has to take action next season, otherwise it will be very uncomfortable. He won't get a strong card in FIFA. Probably a deserved downgrade. We estimate him to be an 84.

Who would have expected Choupo-Moting to be such a good transfer. At the beginning, he was underestimated by everyone. Not only were the two PSG games a highlight, he was also always there when Lewandowski needed a break.

Wow. It's really hard for me to sum up his season in a few words. There is no other way to put it: he's the best striker in the world, if not the best player. I don't think I have to say much about his outstanding performance and the broken Gerd Müller record.

Let's keep this short: Lewandowski should get a 93. After this season, there are no reasons why he shouldn't be the best player of the game. But again... there is the contractual situation with EA. That's why we're really curious to see whether or not EA will be fair and grant him the best rating in the game.

A lot will change in the ratings of Bayern players for FIFA 22. There will probably be the one or the other downgrade on the defensive part. The midfield and the attack should be upgraded instead. Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Müller in particular played an outstanding season.
