The FIFA 22 cover is officially revealed. At least for the Ultimate Edition. It is certain that Kylian Mbappé will be on the FIFA 22 cover, just like last year.
The French World Champion of 2018 and Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappé is once again cover star on the upcoming FIFA 22. The rather mediocre EURO 2020 has not diminished the popularity of the youngster.

So same same, but different, but still the same. In the official tweet from EA Sports, the publisher of FIFA calls him the "cover star" for FIFA 22. However, we see the Ultimate Edition here. The normal version will most likely look different then. In the past years, there were also no country-specific covers anymore.
Here you can see all FIFA covers ever:
Once again Mbappé as a cover star in FIFA 22
The 22-year-old is simply the shooting star of the football world. He has been the top scorer in Ligue 1 for the past three seasons and has also won four league titles (three with Paris Saint-Germain and one with AS Monaco).
His career highlight was certainly winning the World Cup in 2018, and yes, there was some speculation that he would no longer be the cover star. But EA remains loyal to Mbappé. Not surprising, since he is the best in-game player and you can destroy your opponents with him no matter whether in career mode or FUT.
FIFA 22: New gamepaly and new HyperMotion technology
As we already know now, FIFA 22 will feature revamped gameplay with 4,000 new animations. This will see players interacting with each other on the pitch and working better together as a team, with the back line shifting as one to the side closest to the ball.
With HyperMotion technology, a whole new feel is being implemented into FIFA 22. Players' movements are now said to be even more realistic, even more accurate, and even more detailed.
FIFA 22: Official Trailer
The tweet also points out that the first official FIFA 22 trailer will be shown on Sunday, July 11. We are curious, even if FIFA trailers were not really exciting in the last years. We'll keep you up to date, of course.
Our cover proposals were also beautiful:
