In FIFA 22 there will definitely be new leagues and clubs. But at the same time EA has lost the licenses for some teams. We show you all new leagues and new clubs in FIFA 22.
It has been known for some time that EA is gradually losing the licenses for the Italian teams, this year two more teams have moved to the competitor eFootball (PES). In return, EA has secured new licenses and leagues - but that doesn't really knock our socks off. But see for yourself.
FIFA 22 licenses: All new leagues and clubs
A total of six teams of the Serie A will play in FIFA 22 under an alternative name. The players will all remain, but the logo and the stadiums will be lost. FIFA counterpart eFootball continues to invest in the naming rights, creating problems for EA. The second Italian league, Serie B, will no longer exist in FIFA 22 at all. The teams licensed in it will move to "Rest of the World". In FIFA 22 there will be an exotic new league as compensation. Yay...
Which league is new in FIFA 22?
The Indian Super League is the new league in FIFA 22. Yes, you read correctly. India. This has been the worst national team in FIFA for years, now the Indians of all people are getting their licensed league in FIFA 22. No front, but these will be by far the worst teams in the whole game. So, if you like 0.5-star teams, you will be happy. Otherwise, the news is rather sobering. But who wants to blame EA, India could become a good market.

FIFA 22: All New Clubs
Besides the new teams of the Indian league there are new clubs in FIFA 22 every year by promotion and relegation. Interesting are the new third league teams, which are good for the career mode.
Ukraine is now also available as a licensed national team; Uruguay now has its real players again. Unfortunately, Brazil remains a completely generated national team. So, you can't play with Neymar, Richarlison and Co in Seleção kit.
