The Ones-to-Watch cards are special cards for the biggest stars who changed clubs in the last transfer period. Today, we'll show you the top transfers from the football world and give an overview of which superstars could get an OTW card in FIFA 22. Team 1 is in the Game!
The nice thing about OTW cards is that they are dynamic. This means players start with their default overall rating at the beginning of FIFA 22 and can improve by performing well on the real field. When a player receives an In-Form card, the OVR of the OTW card increases by one point. Also, if a player picks up a Man of the Match or Team of the Tournament card, the OTW Rating increases.
The "Wins to Watch" are new in FIFA 22. If the team of an OTW-star wins at least five of the first ten league games (after release on October 1), his overall rating increases.
When will team 1 and team 2 of the OTW cards be released?
Like last year, there will be a total of 28 OTW cards in FIFA 22. Team 1 release is October 1st. It will be available until October 8th. On October 3rd, three more OTW cards will be added.Team 2 will be released on October 8th and will remain available until October 13th. On October 10th there will be three new OTW cards. If you have the Ultimate Edition, you will get an OTW Star from the time you open the pack. As if weighing what you are betting your chances on. After October 13th you then draw players from both teams.
You can also find the current ratings of the OTW stars here!
Which Players Get An OTW Card In FIFA 22?
In the past years, 28 players have been released as OTW. You can get them in packs for a limited time and also get them through the transfer market for your FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. Also, OTWs can be available as a time limitedSBC.
Because the OTWs increase by good real-life performances as described above, you should get players that you believe will show good performance in the coming season.
Of course, this also affects the price. Players who are more likely to get In-Form than others are more expensive. So be quick when you get FIFA 22 and keep an eye out for OTW players and their performance on the pitch in the first few weeks. But don't worry, you'll be kept up to date with us.
Update on: October 11

FIFA 22: OTW Team 2
Team 2 is in the Game! Bayerns Marcel Sabitzer and Barcas Memphis Depay join the OTW-Gang.
FIFA 22: OTW Team 1
EA announced the first team of the Ones-to-Watch Promo. In Team 1 you found the following players:
Lionel Messi: FC Barcelona → Paris Saint Germain
Craziness. Barca's key player has turned his back on the Catalans. After 21 years in Barcelona, it's now Paris. We're still hoping for the end of an era card for Messi for FIFA 21.
PSG becomes the true Ultimate Team thanks to the free signing. That means in real life too. We are excited to see how he will perform. What an attack they have. Let's see if Messi leads the Parisians to the CL title.
In FIFA 22 he will be the best player once again. No one can compete with his OVR rating of 93. There is no word to describe him, except: Legend.
Cristiano Ronaldo: Juventus → Manchester United
Next awesome story: After Messi went to PSG, CR7 won't be asked twice and is also aiming for a change. After 134 competitive games and 101 goals in the Juve shirt, Ronaldo returns "home" to Manchester United.
There he got to know top football as an exceptional Portuguese talent and secured his first world football title in 2008. Now Ronaldo is back in the Premier League - wtf!
At 36 years of age he is a grandpa sorry veteran of course. His strength decreases to 91. Let's see, how his OTW will perform.
Romelu Lukaku: Inter Milan → Chelsea
The current Champions League winner Chelsea is flexing its muscles. Or rather those of Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian moves back to the Blues in England.
The Abramowitsch-Association is spending a whopping £100 million. Almostexactly ten years ago, Chelsea signed him for the first time, from Anderlecht. Now he's back as a world-class striker and will displace Timo Werner on the bench.
Jack Grealish: Aston Villa → Manchester City
Manchester City made the first huge deal. After staying quiet for quite some time, now the Cityzens spend over £100 million for the Aston Villa star. He is the most expensive signing in Premier League history, eclipsing the £89 million spent by Manchester United on Paul Pogba in 2016.
Georginio Wijnaldum: FC Liverpool → Paris Saint-Germain
PSG is upgrading beyond belief. Top Dutch player Gini Wijnaldum is also joining the French capital club. After his strong season at a flagging Liverpool and an excellent EURO 2020, he can certainly help PSG.
Wijnaldum is also moving on a free transfer, for FIFA 22 he got downgraded to a 84.
David Alaba: FC Bayern München → Real Madrid
The royals did not take long to organize an absolutely high-quality replacement for Ramos. After winning everything there is to win with Bayern, David Alaba is looking for a new challenge in Spain.
The 29-year-old joins Real on a transfer, an absolute top transfer. We firmly believe that he will also receive an OTW. EA confirmed his OTW card.

Achraf Hakimi: Inter Milan → Paris Saint-Germain
PSG paid 60 million euros for the right-back. BVB fans know that the price is justified. Inter is happy about the sale, because they have to save money.
He's a bit of a surprise package. After all, he didn't play in the first eleven at Dortmund and Inter right away. However, we are convinced of his quality and PSG will perform well in the league either way. With his 85 OVR he will appear in many FUT teams next season.
Ibrahima Konaté: RB Leipzig → FC Liverpool
Jürgen Klopp is happy about the young Frenchman for his defense. The 22-year-old is considered extremely talented and will also cut a fine figure in the Premier League.
Xherdan Shaqiri: FC Liverpool → Olympique Lyon
This strongman is available via SBC as Special-Object. Will you get him for your Ultimate Team?
Saúl: Atletico Madrid → Chelsea FC
Did Atletico have to save a bit of salary after the Griezmann transfer? We have classic loan + buy option in the case of the Saúl Ñíguez last minute move. Startet at Real, only at Atletico in Madrid, despite being only 26 years old, he can already be described as - at least a little - legend.
The guy has already played 447 games for the club. Now he leaves Spain. Moving from the current champion of your home country to the Champions League winners Chelsea in England? Nice. If he succeeds there, he can get Upgraded more and more.
Raphaël Varane: Real Madrid → Manchester United
Manchester United continues to upgrade! After Jadon Sancho, the next superstar is coming to the north of England. Why he moved from Real Madrid to Manchester United: nobody knows, except Varane himself. New Challenge and this kinda stuff.
Dayot Upamecano: RB Leipzig → FC Bayern München
The center back is again a replacement for David Alaba, although the transfer of the young Frenchman was announced a few months ahead. We are looking forward to the 22-year-old at Bayern. 42.5 million euros transfer fee could have been a good deal.
Eduardo Camavinga: Stade Rennes → Real Madrid
This 18 year old wonder player is a MUST HAVE in any career mode. However, his OTW may not be the best - it's questionable how often he will play at Real Madrid. For people who don't even know who Camavinga is: Has been a regular at Rennes in Ligue 1 for two years, and 88 competitive games for the club despite his young age.
He is a technically excellent, a machine in defensive midfield and can also act as a motor. We are happy that he is at an absolutely top club and at the same time we hope that he ignites like Vinicius Jr – and don't ends up like Martin Odegaard.
André Silva: Eintracht Frankfurt → RB Leipzig
Good deal for all sides. The striker joined Eintracht from AC Milan for a (in hindsight) paltry €3 million. Now, he moved to Leipzig for 23 million euros. If the "Roten Bullen" play another season as good as the last one, he should be able to get some upgrades.
Antoine Griezmann: FC Barcelona → Atletico Madrid
The biggest transfer of Deadline Day is Griezi, who is returning to Atletico. At the Colchoneros he reached his top form - which he never showed at Barca. Despite a Messi exit, we no longer see him in the Blaugrana dress. It's a shame somehow.
But we are happy that he is back in Madrid. Who knows, maybe he will blossom again and lead Atletico to the championship, then Barca would certainly be annoyed to have given up this striker (greetings go to Luis Suarez...)
Memphis Depay: Olympique Lyon → FC Barcelona
Another top transfer without a transfer fee. The flexible attacker played really well for Lyon for years and deserves the move to a top team.Whether his possible OTW is to be recommended, however, we can hardly assess. Barca will probably be in a bit of a rebuilding year next season as well. It should be enough for an upgrade or two, though.
Marcel Sabitzer: RB Leipzig → FC Bayern
The transfer had been discussed for quite some time, now the Munich team have another player for their midfield. The 27-year-old probably cost around 15 million euros and signs until 2025. Sabitzer already played in the 2nd Bundesliga for Leipzig, where he has since become captain."Even as a child, I was very proud of my Bayern jersey, and every Christmas I got a new one," said Sabitzer.
Jadon Sancho: Borussia Dortmund → Manchester United
BVB and ManUnited have agreed on a transfer fee of 85 million euros for the exceptional talent. Should he immediately find his ground in England, Sancho's OTW will certainly be a pretty good one.
