It's finally time, we are now facing the first real test in the new FIFA, FUT Champions starts now. We had a good amount of time to earn some coins and to get to know the gameplay. Here we show you a team which fits the current meta perfectly and which helps you get started in the first Weekend League. FIFA 23: How To Get A Good Team For FUT Champs
The first step is certainly to think about what exactly you need in your squad. Your team shouldn't be that expensive, so you can afford it for the first Weekend League.
As you probably already know, the meta completely changed this year. The next gen consoles got the new AcceleRATE feature. If you want to know more about that, just click here! Players who now have the acceleration type Lengthy are absolutely OP. You should definitely keep an eye out for Lengthy players when building your team, because they feel so much quicker and more agile than players who don't have the same acceleration style.
Lastly, every player in the team should have full chemistry, so he gets an additional in-game boost. The new chemistry system is completely different from what we were used to, so the team we'll show you has 33/33 chemistry.
The Best Team For The First Weekend League
Before showing you the team: We went for a 4-3-2-1 formation, as it's very efficient against the popular 3 or 5 at the back formations. In case you're searching for a different formation, or you aren't sure which custom tactics to use, look at this article!
Let's get to the exciting part, you've been waiting for...
For the goalkeeper position, you have several options. We went for the mid budget player, but you could also pick someone like Donnarumma, Navas, Alisson, Ederson or many more.
Your center backs are insane. In case you can't afford the Inform card, you can simply go with the gold version. His partner is an SBC card, and he is very cheap for what you're getting.
On the full back position, we chose players who rather play as CBs in real life. You simply have to apply some position modifiers, and you will have two absolute beasts who fit the Lengthy meta perfectly. Both are quick on their base card, too.
We'll continue with meta players in midfield. You have not one, not two but three physically strong players who can stop your opponent's attacks, before he even gets close to your goal. All three of them are obviously Lengthy, duh!
On to the most important positions in your squad, your attackers. You have one classical winger and two players who feel more at home in the center, but both are quick enough to play on the wing. That allows you to rotate more. Of course, all three of them are Lengthy.
Now, enough with the secrets. Just look at the team yourself.
In case you don't want to complete the Dynamic Duo SBC, you can also go ahead and change Mbemba for either Mukiele or Kimpembe, depending on your budget. And up top, you could pick Wissam Ben Yedder. Keep in mind, Ben Yedder is not Lengthy, though!
