FIFA 23 Release: FUT And Career Mode Start Dates

The FIFA 23 release is coming closer and closer, but we haven't got an official date from EA Sports yet. However, we can predict when the upcoming game will most likely be released.

We are all really excited to finally play FIFA 23. Because then not only the most exciting phase in Ultimate Team starts (the grind post release, of course), but also some new features and the latest ratings for the career mode are available.

We are in a positive mood and just assume that EA Sports will go all out this year – after all, FIFA 23 could be the last FIFA... maybe ever. But when will the game be released? When is the official FIFA launch this year? When can we finally play it? We have a pretty good idea...

FIFA 23 Release: Probable Launch Date

From the past years we can deduce that the official release of FIFA – that is when really EVERYONE can play it – is always on a Friday. There it usually starts with OTWs and some better packs... it's almost like the opening ceremony in FUT. To find out when FIFA 23 will be released, we should first take a look at EA's games from previous years.

So friends, let's gather all the clues so far: The game always comes out on Friday, around the end of September or beginning of October. For this reason, we predict that FIFA 23 will be released on September 30, 2022.

However, this is based on pure speculation so far and hasn't been officially confirmed by EA Sports. We assume that the developers will not only publish the first gameplay in the near future, but also name an exact release date.

Early Access Via EA Play Trial

But if you really can't wait until the (supposed) release date of FIFA 23, you can spend some more money and play the game a few days earlier. For example, you could get the Ultimate Version of FIFA, which is usually available a couple of days before.

Or you can sign up for an EA Play subscription, which allows you to play the game for 10 hours in advance. Of course, we've already explained how this works. Usually, there's always some bug to bypass this 10-hour time limit – but please do this only at your own risk. Of course, it's not in EA Sports' interest to abuse this.

Otherwise, we will keep you up-to-date as soon as there are news about the release date of FIFA 23. This shouldn't take too long, because leaks on Twitter already announce when which features of the upcoming game will be revealed.
