FIFA 21 TOTY voting is active and it's not restricted to regular fans only. Footballing legends Bastian Schweinsteiger and Rio Ferdinand have revealed their chosen elevens. Let's take a look!
The 70 nominees for the FIFA 21 TOTY were unveiled last Thursday. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Rio Ferdinand are among those that have casted their vote and they were kind enough to share on Twitter. Let's see what the legends have come up with!

The FUT 21 TOTY of Bastian Schweinsteiger
Surprisingly, Schweini leaves out the mega stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in his FIFA 21 TOTY selection. Less surprising, on the other hand, is that the 2014 world champion selects a few Bundesliga players for his team.
Schweinsteiger is a believer in team results. More than half his team comes from the two Champions League finalists - Paris Saint-Germain and his own beloved Bayern München. There are a couple more interesting choices in there, next to the omission of Messi and Ronaldo.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson makes it in, but that can be explained by one hard-working midfielder recognizing another. Raphaël Guerreiro's inclusion is much more difficult to reason with. Hey, it's the man's team. Who are we to judge?

The FUT 21 TOTY of Rio Ferdinand
Rio Ferdinand goes for a very different squad. For starters, he has one half of the Messi - Ronaldo duo. Needless to say, he stays loyal to his old teammate Cristiano, despite the Portuguese showing clear signs of decline and being in the shadow of other Serie A strikers since arriving in Italy. Meanwhile, the top scorer in La Liga so far this season Messi is left out in favor of Sadio Mané, who has two goals in his last 12 league games for Liverpool.
Once again, it's the man's team, but we are kind of judging.

Voting for the FIFA 21 TOTY closes on 18 January, and the eleven best players of the past year will be published during the course of January, probably on the 22nd.
