Sergio Ramos is leaving Real Madrid after 16 years. He's as close to a modern Madridista icon as anyone since Raúl and Iker Casillas, so we can't help but look at his incredible career in the Spanish capital through FIFA lenses. The good news is that the 36-year-old is not going to retire and we will be able to play with him again in FIFA 22.

Sergio Ramos' departure from Santiago Bernabéu has been looming for a while, yet it still feels weird as f*ck now that he's confirmed he will be playing for a different club next season.

Ramos will leave Los Blancos officially when his contract expires on June 30. For 16 success-ridden years at Real, he played 671 games and collected an incredible 22 titles. In addition, he scored 101 goals and dished out 40 assists - outstanding for a center back. No defender has scored more times in the 21st century than SR4!

Still a right-back at the time, the young talent moved to the capital from Sevilla for €27 million. With Real, he developed from an enthusiastic full back to a rock at the heart of defense that would captain the squad during years of immense success.

Ramos won at every level, including two European Championships and Spain's only World Cup win to this day. We are already in awe when looking at his achievements, no matter what may come.
