Spring finalists Fnatic join Rogue as the second undefeated team after Week 1.

The LEC superweek ended with a match between Fnatic and Excel Esports. The spring finalists came into this match as clear favorites after defeating Misfits and Vitality, while their opponents had failed to pick up a win so far.

Once the game started, Vitality were actually the team to gather an early lead off better farming and secured the two early drakes. Fnatic was able to get a key kill and interrupt the third drake, however, and gradually took over the game.

The game was still close until 28 minutes in when Excel went for an opportunistic Baron without doing the necessary preparation. Fnatic collapsed and got a 4:0 fight as well as the big purple worm. A pick on Patrik "Patrik" Jírů shortly afterward let them push in the enemy base, ending the game after a 3:0 fight.

It was a good start for Excel, but they were not able to push their advantage and Fnatic took over in the mid-game. With this, the spring finalists join Rogue tied for the first place. Meanwhile, Excel are sharing a joint last place with FC Schalke 04 as the only two teams without a win.
