The Chipotle Challenger Series is an odd tournament because it is sometimes played on different games, last year was CoD for example. The tournament is serious fun and a chance for players of all skills to compete. Of course, you still needed to qualify for the main event.

What Did the Tournament Format Look Like?
The Fortnite Chipotle Challenger Series event featured four qualifiers for Trios to battle in. The top four teams from each qualified for the finals. A lobby of 33 trio teams with streamers, celebrities, and athletes comprised the finals. The highest-scoring teams after 5 rounds won it all.

A total of $50,000 in prize money was up for grabs! And more amazingly, the winners got free Chipotle for a year, a great albeit unhealthy prize!
- 1st: Ronaldo - Furious - Illest $30,000
- 2nd: Cented - Edgey- Commandment $15,000
- 3rd: Epikreeet - Dfavs - Wavy $5,000
The finals were rather close with only a three-point margin separating first and second place. However, it is not surprising that the top three top teams all have Fortnite Pros. The field was stacked, and the light-hearted nature of the stream and tournament makes it a fun watch, we suggest checking out the tournament VoD!
