The Fortnite competitive scene is lighting up and Chapter 2 Season 4 is getting a large competitive update. Epic Games has updated us on the Global Leader Board, new tournaments, and the Dates for the Fortnite Champion Series. The FNCS kicks off October 9 and the grand finals are set for November 1.
Play in the Fortnite Arena Playlist and earn hype-points to advance through the different competitive leagues on the Global Hype Leader Board. But to break the top ten, you will need a staggering 36k+ Hype Points - that’s a lot of games!
FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 Format: Trios
Trios are back! The best Fortnite squads will bring the thunder and showcase their team skills in this coming competitive season. Each week will have a qualifier that will end in a final round with 33 squads battling for a spot at the FNCS finals. Before the grand finals, Epic are introducing a new Wildcard Match and the winner of this match will qualify for the Grand Finals, more details are to come closer to the date of the finals.
FNCS Season 4 Tournament Dates
- FNCS Week 1: October 9 - October 11
- FNCS Week 2: October 16 - October 18
- FNCS Week 3: October 23 - October 25
- FNCS Finals: October 29 - November 1
The first prized tournament will be two weeks after the season launches to allow the meta to “settle” according to Epic's post. Catch all the tournament action on Epic’s Watch Fornite page.
