Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 was postponed several times. To make the wait more exciting, Epic Games Fortnite added the “Location Domination” challenges.

The actual weekly challenges released for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 ended in week 10, and the XP awarded for completing each challenge had been reduced compared to last season. This worried some players, as they thought they would not be able to earn enough XP to get the golden styles for the Battle Pass Skins.

The challenges

This season, Epic had added some secret missions with the side story of the gnomes and teddy bears of the season, which would grant players some bonus XP. Players had to complete these side missions before the story progressed.

Week 11 saw the introduction of the Location Domination challenges. These challenges are different from the weekly challenges because there are three different levels that players must complete. Each level gives players a different amount of XP.

No new challenges were released in week 12, but the second set of Location Domination challenges was introduced. Check out the three phases of each challenge and behind them the number of pieces that have to be completed in order to get the maximum amount of XP.
