After the performances of Major Lazer and Travis Scott, three artists entered the Fortnite stage together last Saturday in the new Party Royale mode: Steve Aoki, deadmau5, and Dillon Francis.
Most recently, Travis Scott gave a galactic online concert with Astronomical. A short time later, Major Lazer entered the stage and brought the atmosphere to Fortnite in the new Party Royale mode. Last Saturday Epic Games celebrated the cracked mark of over 350 million registered players with the musical performance of DJ's Steve Aoki, Deadmau5, and Dillon Francis. Let's pop the virtual corks!
In the new Party Royale mode, you can neither build nor shoot. Fun and music is the top priority here.
The Event
Epic already announced on Twitter that among the participating DJs will be Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and deadmau5, and everybody was invited to the party. The event was announced for Saturday at 3am, just like Major Lazor beforehand.
Today is the day! Come hangout in Party Royale for our Premiere live show with @DillonFrancis, @SteveAoki, and @deadmau5 tonight at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT. Login starting May 8 at 6 PM ET to Monday, May 11 at 10 AM ET to get your free music reactive Neon Wings Back Bling. pic.twitter.com/49yCeRpObB

About 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the event, fans were able to get settled in the lobby of the Party Royale on the main stage. As the celebrations began, actor and Fortnite fan Jordan Fisher announced the upcoming live acts. Dillion Francis, Steve Aoki, and Deadmau5 played one after the other on three separate sets for a total of one hour. Fans could dance, cheer, or follow other Party Royal Mode activities. The players didn't necessarily have to be on-site in time for the concert: The "Party Royale" tab was available in the main menu until the end of the performance. Here you can relive the whole event:
Those who missed the show on Saturday could watch the rerun the following evening at 8 pm. Perhaps a more pleasant time for the European community.

Party present
Each participant could also expect a party gift for the live event. As soon as a player logged in to Fortnite between Saturday, 9 May, 0:00 CEST, and Monday, 11 May, 16:00 CEST, they would automatically receive the new back accessory "Neonwing", which reacts to music, so you are perfectly dressed for every upcoming show.
Away from the main stage
After the last song was played, deadmau5 took off his mask to say goodbye to the virtual crowd. This was the end of the event. However, after the end of the concert, you could still groove to a remixed version of Fortnite's lobby theme. The shows on the main stage are also just one of the many attractions of Party Royale. On this new, experimental map there is a lot more to do and discover. For example, you can run an obstacle course in the air over a crack, take part in fish stick boat races or try out items on the pitch such as the new paint thrower.
