The Fortnite motto lately is: "Patch me if you can". After a considerable number of updates, we continue with Fortnite Patch 12.50 which should include some bug fixes and more.
There's so much going on in Fortnite that you can hardly keep up: patches, the Travis Scott concert, an axe of champions. The next Fortnite news weren't too long in the coming: This week, we already know that the next update is supposed to go live: the Fortnite Patch 12.50. The day when the patch will be released is not officially fixed yet, but we expect it to be April 29 or 30. So very soon. But what can we expect?

"Block damage with a Kingsman" challenge
Epic Games has already confirmed that the company will take care of the problem with the challenge "Block damage with a Kingsman". Several players had stated on the official Fortnite Trello Board that no achievements were saved for this challenge. The status of the board is "Fixed in next update".

Some of the expected patch notes at 12.50
Since Epic has extended Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2 and we can't expect the new Season 3 until June 4 instead of April 30, we need more content. That's why Fortnite Patch 12.50 may bring Overtime Challenges. These could be a distraction from the seemingly eternal wait for Season 3 and more XP which you can then invest in the Battle Pass.
Beside this assumption, the following bug fixes might come with Fortnite Patch 12.50:
General bugs
- Framerates and resolution drops, particularly from panning the camera view should hopefully be alleviated.
Battle Royale issues
- Local Challenges should now appear on-screen when you enter a new area.
- The "Block damage with a Kingsman" challenge should now track correctly.
Issues in "Save the World"
- Surround Pound's heavy attack should now properly deal damage to Husks.
- Using an ability that's on cooldown should no longer swap players to their pickaxe.
- Storm King's Onslaught projectiles should be more accurate.
- Players should no longer be stuck in the previous Dungeons zone.
- Psylocke's pickaxe should now swing properly.
Mobile issues
- The issue that may crash Android devices when a video play in the game should be fixed.
- Extra build buttons should no longer be displayed as Wall icons.
- The ping marker should no longer sometimes display a distance of 0m.
Now it's time to wait, not only for Season 3, which has moved into the far distance, but also for Patch 12.50. Fortunately, we expect to see it in a few days. Until then, we have everything important about Fortnite here, on EarlyGame.
