The time has come: After the servers were down this morning, the new Fortnite Patch 12.31 is finally available. It introduces some bug fixes and brings back The Codax pickaxe.
That was fast: After Patch 12.30, Fortnite has now made further updates. Patch 12.31 has not yet brought groundbreaking insights into the ever-changing map, but PS4 players will be particularly pleased. Here is an overview of the patch notes:
Patch Notes 12.31
In the official Trello board, the community has reported some bugs - and Fortnite reacted, at least partially. Also, the KTUAL patch seems to mainly aim at solving a number of these problems - hence the missing version number.
The following corrections were confirmed for the patch of April 8:
- No more crashes when switching for cosmetics in locker - this had already been fixed in previous patches for PC, Android and iOS, now console gamers are happy about it.
- PlayStation 4 card textures should be back to higher quality.
- The Codaxe pickaxe is available again.
The community has found other bugs, but we only time will tell how many of them are fixed.

Now quickly get into the game and check out all the great things that have happened! You might even finish the Deadpool Challenge. While you're at it why not take a look at the rest of our Fortnite section?
