Llama-Rama is a collaboration between Rocket League and Fortnite that offers players the opportunity to receive free rewards in both games.

Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, announced a cooperation event between Rocket League and Fortnite. The event will feature in-game rewards for both games in a promotional event to celebrate the free-to-play release of Rocket League.

Rocket League is completely different from Fortnite - and for those who don't know it, essentially soccer with very fast cars. Two teams compete against each other with the goal of scoring points at high speeds with fast maneuvers.

The Llama Rama Event and the Rewards

Rocket League will soon be available for free on the Epic Games Store and to celebrate the day, rewards will be available in both games. The event will begin on September 23, 2020 and Rocket League will also be removed from the Steam store and will not be available for future purchases on this platform. The developers have stated that those who own the game on Steam will still be able to play it.

Epic has not yet told us more about the Fortnite X Rocket League event, but there are some details that are already clear. The first reward is a $10 voucher for the Epic Games Store, which is given to anyone who downloads Rocket League from the store. The voucher can be used for qualifying content or games over $15.

Players will receive additional rewards for logging into an account linked to Epic. These rewards are the Sun Ray Boost and the Hot Rocks Trail. An additional item, the Chopper EG wheels, will be given to players who link their accounts for cross-progression.

There have not yet been any specific announcements about what rewards Fortnite will receive for the event. A cool glider themed after Rocket League cars would look like a suitable option here. It's only a matter of time until we see what Epic Games really has up its sleeve for the crossover.

We'll definitely know more next week, so stay tuned for more Fortnite news! If you just can't get enough of gaming and esports then visit EarlyGame or the EarlyGame Youtube channel.
