The Fortnite World Cup champion had recently left Sentinels and has finally found a new home to continue competing.
When Sentinels announced that they were parting ways with World Cup champion Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf, fans saw it as yet another terrible omen for the future of competitive Fortnite amid plenty of esports organizations pulling support for the scene.
However, not all hope seems lost as Bugha has found a new org that still believes in competitive Fortnite: Dignitas.
That's right, the world champ was announced as the stellar new signing of Dignitas on February 27.

Bugha only spent two months as a free agent, and quite frankly, we're surprised it took so long for a new team to pick him up when his contract with Sentinels ended at the end of 2022.
Bugha joins a stacked Dignitas roster featuring some incredible talent that the organization has been picking up throughout 2022, meaning they're one of the few esports orgs that still strongly believes in competitive Fortnite.
Fortnite Dignitas Roster
The full Dignitas roster is as follows:
- Matthew "Mero" Faitel
- Piero "Pgod" Ramirez
- Camron "Cam" Dean
- Lucas "Dukez" Cardenas
- Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf
It's worth noting that Bugha has previously teamed with Mero and Dukez in trios events to great success, including winning the Fortnite Champion Series: 2021 Grand Royale - NA East event.
