In Fortnite Chapter 4 you can capture territories to get a bunch of good weapons and healing stuff. We have all the information about the capture areas for you and show you how to capture them.
With Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1, not only did many new weapons and a new map arrived, but also the so-called capture areas, which you, as the name suggests, can conquer to get a lot of good loot. In addition, conquering some of these areas is also part of the weekly missions.
The challenge consists of five stages and you will get 16k XP for completing each stage, giving you a total of 80k XP towards your Battle Pass. By now you should want to know everything about the capture points!
Fortnite Capture Points: All Locations
The capture points are located in each named area on the current Chapter 4, Season 1 map. These places are:
- Anvil Square
- Breakwater Bay
- Brutal Bastion
- Faulty Splits
- Frenzy Fields
- Lonely Labs
- Shattered Slabs
- Slappy Shores
- The Citadel
On this map you will find the exact locations marked:
We advise you to land in smaller locations like Lonely Labs or Breakwater Bay and avoid hotspots to avoid being disturbed by enemy players.
How To Capture Points In Fortnite
You can recognize the capture points by the iron pillar with purple flags hanging from it. To capture a capture point in Fortnite, you must stay within the circle around the flag until it is hoisted to the top of the pole, which takes about 45 seconds. Conquest will take longer if you leave the circle as the flag will then start to fall.
Once the flag is fully raised, delicious loot will spawn around it. This includes weapons of at least "rare" rarity, ammo, gold bars, and heal items. Also, enemies and crates in the area will be marked for 30 seconds.
If another player has claimed a capture point before you reach it, you cannot raise the flag again to capture it. You must then either travel to another named point on the map to find another, or stop and try again.
For the challenge, you must capture a total of 9 capture points, divided into the following phases:
- Phase 1: 1 capture point
- Phase 2: 1 capture point
- Phase 3: 2 capture points
- Phase 4: 2 capture points
- Phase 5: 3 capture points
Now you should know how it works and hopefully have no more problems!
