Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: News & Leaks
You know what Fortnite dataminers are like. They're constantly digging into the code, and pulling out one leak after another. And we're here for you to collect them all.
Live Event For Season End
For several days now, something has been brewing on the island. The large statue near Mount Olympus has been shooting dangerous lightning bolts at Pandora's box, which in turn triggered a sandstorm. This sandstorm will sweep across the island at the end of the season, leaving chaos and a desert in its wake. However, this will not happen directly in the form of a live event, but rather in several stages.
Fortnite leaker Loolo also points out that the mini-event will have a total of 5 phases. We have already reached the 5th phase. Here is the event for those who may have been busy adulting or just didn't know it was happening: pic.twitter.com/Z1Zj5UYLpD

Sand Biome And New Locations
Based on the roadmap, we will get a huge sand biome with new POIs. What will happen to the god biomes from Season 2 is not yet known, though.
Fallout, Metallica & Pirates of the Caribbean Crossover
Fortnite Festival will also get its own new season in the middle of the new Battle Royale Season 3. According to the roadmap, the well-known metal band Metallica will be coming to Fortnite!
In the Battle Royale mode itself, many leakers like Hypex expect collaborations with Pirates of the Caribbean, centered around the iconic character Jack Sparrow & the franchise Fallout!

Fallout will also bring the so-called “power armor” into the game, as well as Nuka Cola, which is known from the franchise.

Fortnite x Fall Guys Collaboration
Fall Guys is coming to Fortnite! After the collaboration was leaked in December 2023, it's now official. The collaboration with the in-house skill game is set to begin this summer.
Fall Guys is expected to be available in Fortnite's UEFN in May 2024. This means that players in UEFN can create their own Fall Guys maps! Alongside the familiar Fall Guys assets, Jump Pads and other items from Fortnite will also be available.
Epic has released a trailer showing what such maps could look like on X, formerly known as Twitter.

First Person Mode
According to a tweet from our favorite Fortnite leaker HYPEX, who has always been a reliable source of Fortnite leaks and news in the past, Epic Games has started developing a first-person camera mode.
In the meantime, more files have been found that clearly point to a first-person view. Whether this will then only be available in special modes or in zero builds is not yet known.
Flying Mounts
A slightly older Twitter post from HYPEX also states that Epic is working on “rideable, flying animals” for Fortnite. Apparently, players will be able to boost the animal for more speed and fly on “idle”. Idling would likely mean the mount could hover in the air to allow players to shoot more accurately or throw items. Earlier, an item that looked like a saddle in Fortnite was leaked. Presumably, this item could be related to the flying mounts.
However, we assume that the flying mounts will only come into the game in a later season.
New Sports Mode
According to HYPEX, Fortnite could introduce a new sports mode, expanding its gameplay into basketball and soccer. He writes:
FORTNITE SPORTS MODE Reminder that 3 years ago, Fortnite were working on Basketball "mini games" where you can play, watch NBA games, and more.. And they probably teased it with Football (Soccer) too during the event, so this might be the next big thing that they add pic.twitter.com/diwSrNiKMP

Chapter 5 Season 3 Map Changes & New POIs
With Chapter 5 Season 3, the Fortnite map will change once again. However, the basic structure will remain the same, and only some new locations and a new biome will be added to the map. This biome will mainly affect the southwestern region, turning it into a sand or dust desert. Additionally, according to the leaks, Mount Olympus, Fending Fields, Restored Reels, and The Underworld will disappear. In their place, there will be some new POIs, such as "The Shark 2.0" and "Nitro Dome."

Also, according to the leaked roadmap, there will be a collaboration with Pirates of the Caribbean in Season 3, which would of course bring none other than Jack Sparrow into the game!
The band Metallica will also be added to the game in the next season, but the associated skins will probably only be available in Festival Mode and in the Item Shop.
In addition, players suspect that in the next season, One Piece could finally come to Fortnite!
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass: New Weapons & Items
What would a new season be without new weapons and items? So far, there has never been a season, in which not a single new weapon has been added. Also, as always, a few old favorites will return to the game. You can see all the new and leaked weapons here.
And that's it for now with the leaks.
As soon as there is more news, we will update this article again, so don't forget to check back from time to time!
