Fortnite's new challenges are here, and one of these quests requires you to eliminate a player while you have no ranged weapon in your inventory and are on foot. We'll show you how it's done.
The weekly quests from this Fortnite Season are slightly different than previous Seasons. While previously you always had a full season to complete the new quests, you now have to complete all new quests within just one week.
This week is called "Disagreement" and one challenge is as follows:
Eliminate a player while you have no ranged weapon in inventory and are on foot.
Actually, this task is pretty self-explanatory. If you're still having trouble completing them, we're here to help.
What counts as a ranged weapon in Fortnite?
First of all, you should know what counts as ranged weapons in order to avoid carrying them in your inventory.
At first glance, you might think that this refers to weapons that are used at long range, such as the DMR or the bows. In fact, all weapons in Fortnite count as ranged weapons that shoot ammo. It doesn't matter if it's a long distance or not.
Of course, this doesn't mean that you have to run around the island defenseless without a weapon. You can also knock out a player in Duos, Trios, or Squads mode, quickly drop all your weapons, and then finish them off with your pickaxe.
Or you're looking for a dude standing AFK somewhere in the corner in Group Wedges mode. Of course, the shockwave hammer is also a good way to deal a lot of damage quickly. The quest isn't the easiest, but we're sure you'll be able to do it!
