The world's most popular sport is making its way to Fortnite. Fans of both entities will have a chance to combine them by taking part in the Fortnite Pelé Cup on January 20. A few days later, on January 23, to be precise, a new kick-off set and the "Pele's aerial jump" emote will keep the footballing spirit in Fortnite servers.

Those who have enjoyed kicking around on the pitch in Pleasant Park will be delighted to see the most popular sport now even more integrated into Fortnite. Fortnite is ready for some football!

The Pelé Cup

The football fun begins in a competitive way a little earlier - on January 20, with the Pelé Cup. All players who take part in the Cup will have the chance to win the air jump emote and the kick-off set. The participants with the most points can even win a special signed T-shirt.

That's not even all there is...

Football Tournaments in Creative Mode

There will be a matching island with a football theme in creative mode. Players can compete against each other in a 4v4 on the pitch, with a tournament tree. The game is played with the body, picks, power-ups, speed boosts, and many other methods to get the upper hand against opponents and achieve victory. Each match consists of two rounds. In the second round, the winners of the first-round play for victory and the losers for third place.
