Craft weapons in one second? Yes please! (Credit: Epic Games)

Fortnite's Season 6 introduced the weapon crafting feature for the first time. However, crafting a weapon takes a few precious seconds, during which you are vulnerable to your opponents. Now, players seem to have figured out a bug that lets you craft a weapon in one second! We'll show you how it works.

A new day, a new Fortnite bug... And this one has it all! As most of you have already noticed, you can craft weapons since the beginning of Season 6. You've probably also noticed that you are defenseless against enemies during crafting for several, excruciating seconds!

Now a player on Reddit has discovered a bug that lets you craft a weapon in less than a second. We'll show you how it works!

How To Craft Weapons in Less Than a Second in Fortnite?

Reddit user Jedisiri21 posted a clip in the Fortnite Competitive subreddit showing a bug that allows crafting a weapon faster than usual.

This is how it works:
  • Start a match in Fortnite.
  • Collect the materials needed to craft a weapon.
  • Start the auto-run.
  • Open the crafting menu and upgrade your weapon.
  • Cancel the crafting animation.
  • Now you have an upgraded weapon.

Unfortunately, this bug has no guarantee that it will work every time you try it. However, if it works, you'll have a better chance of keeping an eye on your opponents.

We expect Epic Games to fix this bug soon, as it gives certain players quite the advantage. However, it seems that they haven't noticed it yet, so be sure to try it out before it's too late!
