Fortnite: The Winners of the FNCS from Chapter 2, Season 5

The Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) came to an end last weekend with a cracking finale. A total of 3 million US dollars in prize money was distributed. Who was able to take home the prize money and the Axe of the Champions?The seventh season-long FNCS proved to be an endurance test for those lucky enough to reach the finals. Three straight months of relentless training set the stage for an exciting finale in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5. Epic Games allocated $3 million for the competition, which spanned seven regions.Only seven teams were able to claim their region's top prize and the rarest pickaxe in Fortnite, the Axe of Champions. The top three teams in each region will also automatically qualify for the FNCS Chapter 2 - Season 6 Grand Finals.Let's take a look at the winners.

FNCS Winner Europe

Europe's best trio was Hen, JannisZ and chapix. After a tough start to Day 1, they really took off on Day 2. They topped the table in the remaining six matches, where they earned two Victory Royales and 36 eliminations. It was a storybook ending as this trio completed one of the best season performances the competitive scene has ever seen. Each player will go home with a share of $300,000.GUILD members Flikk, Anas and Gamma Gaming player Th0masHD finished in an excellent second place with 271 points. They managed the most eliminations in the Grand Finals in the last 12 games with 72. Top contenders Vadeal, Noahreyli and rezon finished the tournament with a Victory Royale in game seven and a total of 260 points, which earned them third place.

FNCS Winner NA East

Countless trios were right up front until the very last match. G2 Jahq, LG Slackes, and 1P Acorn prevailed in the end. They were in second place after the first day and proved their strength with five top-ten finishes in the final six matches. Jahq, Slackes and Acorn scored 303 points to secure first place and $50,000 each.Commandment, Cented, and Edgey stayed in the running but were narrowly defeated in the final game. They played better than any other team on day two, earning two second-place finishes and 72 eliminations. BBG Bucke, BBG Khanada, and G2 MackWood fought their way to third place with a second-place finish and a win in the final two matches.

Things were also heating up in the west of North America. With an amazing 2 wins, 61 eliminations, 302 points, 48 points ahead of second place, Arkhram, rehx and EpikWhale went home with $25,000 each. With 254 points, tsg kenshi, tsg snacky, and pure chris still secured second place.XTRA Quinn, Jucy and TSG dylannx7 can settle for third place and a total of $30,000 dollars in prize money.

FNCS Winner Brazil

Brazil's King finally managed to break the curse of second place, scoring 329 points along with Seeyun and cadu. These three players scored an incredible five Victory Royales and 63 eliminations. The second-place team – consisting of persa, Ed, and Nicks –was close behind with 321 points.Even though гynm7, nw.nov1ce, and pronexchi are far from the top two spots with 215 points, they still took home a total of $30,000 in prize money with their third-place finish.

In the Oceania region, the top trio of PWR Muz, PWR looter, and speedy dominated the competition. They scored 325 points in all 12 matches, including a Victory Royale and 71 eliminations. It was a historic and well-deserved victory. Second place went to Agent SorifGoms, spg bercanvolx, and syncyfishy with 295 points. Third place was secured by GLM x2Suns, tuii, and MADE Korg with 269 points.

Qjac, naetor, and Alice took a narrow victory in the Asia region with 277 points and a total of $36,000 in prize money. Despite winning three games, Fram, Alba, and Hikakin had to settle for second place with 270 points.

FNCS Middle East Winner

After a team change in Season 5 where KuKi and Nyle, swapped Mev for Phantom, they now went straight for the win. After the great FNCS finals in the Middle East region with 332 points and 78 eliminations, they now took the Champions title. SAQR Modisk, SAQR Souriаnо, and Falcon Kai got only 10 points less. Thus, they are 68 points above the third-placed team consisting of Falcon Snowitr0, Falcon Νm7, and Falcon Rv.
