Fortnite's Creative Director has reportedly said that the next major event in the game will "fundamentally change the future" of Epics Battle Royale. Whoa, what's that coming to us?
Fortnite Creative Director Donald Mustard commented on a closed video conference moderated by Geoff Keighley, the details of which were released by the Leaker iFireMonkey. It seems that Epic Games has some plans for the game. Maybe even more than we could have ever imagined.

The Next Event Will Be the Biggest Event Ever
Mustard is said to have told Keighley that the closing event of Season 4 will be "the biggest event (of Epic) ever" and "will change the future of Fortnite." He doesn't say a word about what the team has planned, but it looks like an earlier character in the story may return. Mustard is said to have confirmed that Epic has completed a new recording session with Troy Baker, who spoke to agent John Jones in the past event, The Device, or Doomsday, which took place at the end of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3.

Epic's CEO, Tim Sweeney, was asked a long time ago if he considers Fortnite a game or a platform. In response, Sweeney said: "Fortnite is a game. But please ask this question again in 12 months".
Those 12 months are almost over, and Mustard said that Epic will make some kind of announcement at the Game Awards ceremony, which is scheduled for December 10, implying that anything that happens to Fortnite could be revealed at the show.
Could This all Be Related?
Whatever exactly will happen, it's quite possible that the crossover with Marvel will continue. Finally, Mustard continued that this is just the beginning of many things they have planned for many years of Marvel integration.
The current season is expected to wrap up on November 30 with the arrival of Galactus. Whether iFireMonkey was right with the release will become clear at that point at the latest. We hope Epic doesn't disappoint us and we get to see something really unexpected.
