When Does The Fortnite Operation Sky Fire Live Event Start?
The Fortnite Operation Sky Fire Live Event was out on September 12th, 4PM ET (1PM PT, 10PM CEST). As always, it’s good if you start up Fortnite a little earlier than that, just so you’re prepared for when the event actually starts – just how much earlier you can read below. Don’t want to miss out on the action, right? Usually, events stick around until Season 8 commences but if you missed it check out this gameplay VoD:

How To Join The Fortnite Operation Sky Fire Live Event?
As we mentioned before, Operation Sky Fire is an in-game event, so you will have to launch Fortnite and then join the event playlist. We already mentioned the start date above and that you’ll want to be there early. You can log into the event 30 minutes before it actually starts, so we mean it: be ready. If the event is still active, it will appear in your playlist until Epic removes it.
The theme of this event was obviously aliens, which you’d already known if you even played as much as one match this season. Epic didn’t say much about the event beforehand, but they did post this on their official website, so if you don't mind spoilers, then be sure to read their blog post.
